The number of Eastern equine encephalitis cases in Florida is on the rise and state health officials are asking horse owners to vaccinate their animals to protect them from the deadly disease.
As of June 30, there have been four times as many cases of the disease, known as EEE, in Florida as in same period the previous two years.
